GAK Chairman

Mr. Paul Ngugi is the current Chairman of the Geothermal Association of Kenya.

He is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Geothermal Development Company, GDC, having been appointed on the 25th of April 2023.

Mr. Ngugi joined GDC in 2009 and served in various capacities. Before appointment as MD and CEO, he worked as the General Manager, Drilling & Infrastructure and General Manager, Strategy at GDC at different times.

Mr. Ngugi has over 30 years of experience in geothermal development starting out at the Kenya Electricity Generating Company over three decades ago.
