Chebet Mutai is a seasoned ICT leader with 14 years of extensive experience in the ICT industry.
She is currently a Senior ICT Officer in charge of the Systems Administration function in the Geothermal Business Area at Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen).
She is well-versed in areas of Geothermal Software Systems, Distributed Control Systems (Geothermal Power Plants & Well Heads) ICT Infrastructure, Industry IoT, SAP, GIS, Windows, and Linux systems.
She is instrumental in planning and leading large IT transformation projects.
She is a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communication Technology from the University of Wollongong (Australia), has various Certifications in Microsoft, Linux and ITIL. She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Services and Social Sciences. She is a member of the Computer Society of Kenya.
She is innovative and skilled in provision of leading-edge operational technology solutions, whilst utilizing her strong research, problem solving and analytical skills.
Chebet loves reading books and is a great gym enthusiast.
